Busta moves to Motown, renames album B.O.M.B., leaks new song, added to Hip Hop Honors

Busta has confirmed what we reported last week, he is officially off Interscope and is now at Universal Motown.  His highly anticipated album "Blessed," is now titled "B.O.M.B." and is slated for December 9, a label spokesperson confirmed.

Busta confirmed the news on New York radio station Hot 97, telling listeners, "Me and (Dr.) Dre are still good, even though I'm not in business with Aftermath or Interscope."

Rhymes explained that "B.O.M.B" stands for "Back on my Bulls--t" and the newly leaked single is called "Arab Money."

"I just want the world to know it's official," Rhymes said.

Busta has seen many record company changes during his lengthy career.   He released his first four solo albums under Elektra Records, previously headed by Sylvia Rhone, who now leads Universal Motown. Then joined Clive Davis on J Records and released two more albums.  Following J Records he signed on to Aftermath where he only released one album, "The Big Bang," in 2006.

In related news Busta has just been added to this year's VH1 Hip Honors lineup, along with Cee-Lo, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Queen Latifah, Fat Joe, Flavor Flav, Gym Class Heroes and Chuck D. to play tribute to this year's honorees; Cypress Hill, De La Soul, Naughty By Nature, Slick Rick and Too $hort.  The show airs October 6th at 10 p.m. on VH1.
