Faizon Love vs FunkMaster Flex
R.Kelly's recent interview with BET's Toure has sparked much controversy. Many viewers felt that Kells answer to Toure's question about underage girls was an admittance to the charges he was accused of, lacked remorse and were indicative that R.Kelly plans to continue to sleep with teenage girls.
The day after the interview New York's Hot 97 radio personality Funkmaster Flex had some very harsh comments on R.Kelly and the interview. He later recorded a video and released it on the internet voicing his opinions and concerns.
FunkMaster Flex's on-air comments and video sparked actor Faizon Love to release his own video in response to Flex's comments. Faizon took offense to Flex's comments and begins his video by saying he does not know R.Kelly then releases a tirade against Funkmaster Flex. In the expletive laden message titled "F--k Flex" Faizon calls Flex a "B---h," "d--k rider," "snitch" among other things and seems to invite a confrontation with the DJ, even releasing his address.
Faizon Love originally started his career as a standup comedian before landing his first role in the animated film Bebe's Kids. He then had a role in The Meteor Man starring Robert Townsend. Impressed with Love's acting abilities, Townsend then cast him as a co-star on his sitcom The Parent 'Hood. He followed up this role with a breakout performance as the drug dealer Big Worm in the film Friday in 1995. Other films on Love's resume include Elf, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Money Talks, Wonderland, The Fighting Temptations, and Idlewild. Video gamers may recognize Love as the voice of Sean "Sweet" Johnson from Rockstar Games's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Love is also featured on the track "Freaky Thangs" by rapper Ludacris.
