Kanye West responds to 50's taunts

One of the biggest stories in the world of music last year was the Kanye West and 50 Cent battle of album sales for Hip Hop supremacy.  50 Cent was so confident that he promised to retire if Kanye beat him.  Well Kanye did indeed win and 50 reneged on his promise.  We all know 50 Cent is too competitive to lose gracefully so it seems we're about to see a rematch between the two stars.

Kanye West debuted his new single "Love Lockdown" at this year's VMAs and announced that his next album, entitled "808s & Heartbreaks" would be released on December and a week later 50 responded by mocking Kanye West's new single and announcing he will be releasing his album a week apart from Kanye's.  Keep in mind 50 had this album done before his last album "Curtis" and could've released it whenever he wanted to but it seems he strategically waited until now.

At the Albany concert (see video below) 50 mockingly sang Kanye's Love Lockdown before abruptly stopping the music and saying, “See what happen. You stop f--king with me, look what happened. You see that? That’s what you stuck with. See how you treat me, I’m going to accept your apology for that last one.”

Tony Yayo weighed in on the battle in an interview last week by saying, “That'll be fun. In my eyes, I don't think Kanye will never be bigger than Fif, no matter what his numbers do."

Kanye has now responded to them by saying in his blog, “I guarantee this will be 50’s favorite album of mine.  This will be gangster’s album of the year.”
