New Eminem album may be out as early as December

Since 2004's Encore Eminem fans have been eagerly anticipating his next album and now it seems their wishes will be granted soon.  The multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning MC has been hinting towards dropping a new CD, tentatively titled King Mathers, for some time now but sources are now saying it may come as early as December.

In a recent appearance on his satellite radio station, Shade45, Em told DJ Tony Touch, "I always do side projects and produce for artists on the label ... I'm concentrating on my own stuff right now, just banging out tracks. The more I keep producing, the better it seems I get. I start knowing stuff, learning the boards like the back of my hands."

In recent interviews 50 Cent has been acknowledging that Em is set to release a new album.  In an interview while promoting his new movie "Righteous Kill," 50 said, "He's got a new album coming. He's not gonna tell people that, but he's making new music.  I've heard a few songs, and it's hot.  He won't tell nobody he's working on a new album, but I'll tell you: he's working on new music.  And once he locks into it, like, 'This is my favorite shit,' it's gonna come out."  In another interview with ITN he said, "You think I'm gonna let him make the record and I'm there and not be on the record? I had the opportunity to sit with [Eminem] two and half weeks ago for his project," he added. "I stayed with him for the weekend. His project is coming together. They're not gonna be excited till they hear the first single, then they're just gonna go right back to loving him all over again. They're gonna love Em like they loved him the first time he came".  "You'll be seeing him shortly," 50 told the BBC in yet another interview. "He's working. I spent the weekend at his house.  Even though he tries to relax and stay home, it's impossible for him to stay in. A lot of material he wrote prior to this is being scrapped.  He's got to feel like it's just happened, it's new and it's current.  That's just how he is creatively as an artist."

Dr. Dre also confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that he recently devoted two months to Eminem's new CD.

T.I., Akon, DJ Premier and Cashis have confirmed they have worked on Eminem's new album.

So it seems the wait might finally be over soon but there's no dates as of yet.
