50 Cent has won temporary visitation rights to see his son

On Monday (Sept. 8) a Long Island judge granted 50 Cent temporary visitation rights allowing him to see his son every other weekend until the custody trial begins.  The trial is set to begin on October 22nd, 2008 in Suffolk County's Family Court.

The presiding judge, David Freundlich, stated the boy's mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, is to drop the child off at a precinct in Queens where 50 will pick up his 11 year-old child.  The unusual arrangement was made because the boy's mother still has a restraining order against the rapper.

This just the latest development in what 50 Cent has called the "toughest battle of my life".  Earlier this year the boy's mother took 50 to court demanding half of his fortune.  The rapper then asked her to move from his mansion.  She refused and when the home mysteriously burned down she accused him of being responsible for the blaze.  50 denied the charges and filed a defamation lawsuit against her.

Outside the courtroom when asked what he's going to do now and a triumphant 50 said "I'm going to hang out with some hoes, make some music, make some movies, and continue to kick it."
