Juelz Santana has denied rumors that he was robbed in the UK

This past weekend rumors began to swirl through the internet claiming Dipset member Juelz Santana and his entourage were robbed in London.  According the the rumors the robbery was payback for Dipset charging $70,000 but not showing up at a previous show.  Sources said the promoter and his group paid Dipset an unkindly visit at their hotel and left with the group's jewelry and this led to the cancelation of their scheduled show and a quick flight back home.

Juelz has denied the robbery took place.  He says the original hotel kicked them out because they were causing a commotion and the show was canceled by the authorities because they couldn't handle the turnout.

In a statement Juelz said, “Bottom line, my former manager along with an ex-group member accepted an astronomical amount of money for a paid date that never happened or was ever brought to my knowledge, I was not robbed. My staff and I were kicked out of our original hotel for the commotion. The promoter, myself, and my DipSet associate Blackadon worked out the outstanding issue like bosses do.”

According to the statement, the confrontation took place last Sunday (August 31) when an upset promoter visited Santana’s hotel. Due to the unexpected event, his sold-out London performance was canceled leaving fans wondering what exactly happened. “The London and Wolverhampton shows were canceled by the UK police minutes before show time due to the hotel commotion and the police’s inability to handle the turn out,” Santana’s publicist Lynn Hobson wrote in the statement.
