Lil Wayne, real name Dwight Carter Jr., missed a scheduled appearance in a Yuma County, Arizona court room yesterday morning (8/26).  Lil Wayne's attorney told the judge the rapper could not make the proceedings because of a medical procedure he underwent.  The judge said the rapper was not excused from the proceedings and that he must be there for  the next hearing in October. 

Meanwhile mediatakeout.com is reporting that Lil Wayne did not appear in court because he's in rehab.  They say sources have told them that Lil Wayne checked into rehab over the weekend.
