DMX is ALMOST a Free Man After Pleading Guilty To Drug Charges in Miami

DMX has pled guilty to drug charges in Miami in exchange for his release. The drug charges stemmed from a June arrest in Miami, Florida. According to police, X was arrested after trying to buy small amounts of cocaine and marijuana from an undercover officer.  

Under the plea agreement his sentence will be time served and be required to pay a $483 fine.  Had he gone to trial and been convicted he faced six years. 

However, X will have to remain in a the Miami jail for at least another 15 days, or until Phoenix comes to pick him up for his warrant on charges pending there.  If they don't come to extradite him he will be free to go.

Today's deal comes just one day after DMX made heaadlines for cursing out the Miami judge who denied him bail.

DMX has been detained since August 19th when he was picked up on a warrant isssued in Phoenix. The warrant was issued after he failed to show up in court for an unrelated drug charge.
