SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — A Puerto Rican woman has accused the premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands of raping her, police in the British Caribbean territory said.

Local police and the FBI are investigating the woman’s claim that Premier Michael Misick assaulted her on the night of March 27, deputy police commissioner Hubert Hughes said Tuesday.

Misick, who has held the top office since 2003, said in a televised address last week that a woman had filed a false complaint of sexual assault against him but he would be cleared of the “outrageous allegations.”

The FBI field office in Miami referred questions to the U.S. Embassy in Barbados, where assistant legal attache Norman Scott said he could not confirm or deny any U.S. involvement in the investigation.

According to publicity firm Lynn Allen Jeter & Associates, the two were seen “canoodling” during the T&C Music Festival over the weekend while LisaRaye was in New York. “Sources have even reported that Rocsi stayed at the Misick home and hosted guests as if she was the lady of the house,” the release stated. In March, Rocsi’s name was floated around as the unnamed “American friend of LisaRaye’s” who accused Michael Misick of rape, but those reports were never confirmed to be true. The alleged victim was said to have reported the crime to local police before returning to her home in the U.S. and reporting it to the FBI.

At the time, USA Today reported that a Puerto Rican woman had accused Misick of raping her. Rocsi, born Raquel Roxanne Diaz, was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and is reportedly of Honduran and Chilean descent. 

LisaRaye returned to the TCI this week.  Misick is said to have refused to allow his wife to stay at the Premier’s mansion and she is believed to be staying at a local beach resort.

On Wednesday night, for unknown reasons, LisaRaye decided to confront Misick at his mansion, which resulted in the violent altercation.

Misick's spokesman said, "LisaRaye, her cousin Phillip Travis, and her publicist, Lynn Jetter, assaulted the guard at the premier's home, proceeded to ransack the house, and then assaulted the premier and his sister. The premier at no time had any physical contact with LisaRaye."

LisaRaye countered, "An attempt was made by and on behalf of my husband to first prevent my entry into our home and then, later, to make me leave our home by force. I shall continue to assist the police force with its inquiries."

Jetter told us, "No, we didn't break in. She was at her home. Someone bit her. It might've been Michael or his sister, but there was shoving and someone bit her on the shoulder."

Conflicting Reports:

More details have emerged about the scuffle between actress LisaRaye and Michael Misick over in the Turks & Caicos islands that resulted in her arrest yesterday. According to V-103’s Ryan Cameron, LisaRaye, who was banned from the main house, drove her car through a barricade at the house, parked her car and barged into a closed door meeting between the Premiere and his cabinet ministers.  LisaRaye said, “does LisaRaye have to bite a b*tch?,” before pouncing on Misick and commencing to sink her teeth into his flesh. Another man who attempted to separated the former lovers, was also bitten. Both Raye and Misick were treated for human bites at a local hospital and LisaRaye was placed under arrest.
