50 Cent and Son Reunited

50 Cent and his son Marquis were reunited on Monday and will spend the week together at his Connecticut mansion.  50 Cent has not been allowed visitation rights since the home (owned by 50) where Marquis and his mother, Shaniqua Thompkins, live burnt to the ground in May.

Ms. Thompkins accused 50 of being involved in setting the home ablaze in retaliation because she refused his demands to move out of the property.  She blocked access to his son and filed a $50 million lawsuit against him.  The judge presiding over the case recently sided with 50 and has ordered Ms. Thompkins to vacate the home by September 1st.

In an interview with MTV, 50 Cent referred to his custody battle as the "toughest battle of my life."

In related news, 50 Cent recently stated that he bought the rights to his son's mother life so she would not be able to write a book, "I bought the rights to her life story so she couldn't write a book.  I seen her getting ridiculous; I knew her capabilities of going in that direction, so I bought the rights".  So there will be now tell-all book from her.
