Shot Fired At Rick Ross Charity Event

Rick Ross' Be Out Day ended in gunfire yesterday.  What was suppose to be a charity event turned into chaos as a shot rang out and sent everybody scrambling. Luckily no one was hurt and sources said the police had someone in custody and recovered a gun from the scene.  

The Incident took place around 5pm at Carol City Park on 185th Street in Miami Gardens, Florida

Rick Ross' Be Out Day is a yearly back to school event where the rapper gives away book bags and school supplies to children from the neighborhood where he grew up..

I've been to a couple of blog sites that have got the story all wrong. some sites are saying a gun shot was shot from the crowd. some sites are saying some guys rushed the stage with a gun. None of this was true. I was a Volunteer at the event. I worked close with the performers and celebrites there. This is what exactly happened. Rick Ross, Flo-Rida and Brisco entered the VIP area from the rear entrance to divert any attention from themselves. The Poe Boy entourage took pictures with the fans and approached the stage. The group of young men that wore t-shirts which read "F--k Fla-Rida", were all at least between the ages of 15-17. The young men didnt rush the stage, they were afraid to rush the stage. They stood at the far off end of the stage. No one barely noticed them. Flo-Rida wasnt performing, It was Ross who was performing "Hustling", along with Brisco and Flo-Rida It was E-Class, Poe Boy's Manager, who noticed the guys with the shirts. He quickly exited the stage with two other guys to chase the down the young men with the t-shirts. The young men were so afraid, they ran off. E-Class continued to chase them down until shots rang out.
