There's been rumors circulating for years claiming that THE BOSS, Rick Ross was a correctional officer in South Florida before making it as a rapper.  Recently Trick Daddy went public with the rumors and it has created a firestorm of controversy throughout the Hip Hop community.  Rick Ross immediately denied the rumors in an interview (see below).

However, recently pictures have surfaced of C.O. William Roberts, aka Rick Ross, in full uniform.

In a statement Rick Ross said:
"My life is 100% real," he said. "These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples’ body. If this s**t was real don’t you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything? I’m in the entertainment business and a lot of people who like to hate because I’m on top of my game. Like I said before my life is 100% real. I live by this die by this. Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake.”

In Wikipedia his bio reads,"He used to be a prison guard apparently Rick Ross was born William Roberts in the lower-class Carol City in Florida. At Carol City Senior High School, he played football, and he later attended the historically black Albany State University in Albany, Georgia on a football scholarship. He began rapping around the mid-1990s, at which time he formed the five-man amateur group Carol City Cartel."
