Emmis Communications has announced it is canceling, the often controversial, "Miss Jones in the Morning" on New York's HOT97.  They plan to divide the time slot, replacing it with two shows featuring Cipha Sounds.  From 5am to 7am listeners will hear DJ Cipha Sounds and co-host Peter Rosenberg and at 7am Cipha Sounds will be joined with the nationally syndicated "Big Boy's Neighborhood".  

In the announcement Emmis Communications says, "this provides a very special AM show with both local and national talent with less edge, a little more celebrity, and a whole lot of entertainment,"
